A palpable sense of excitement envelops the campus today, as a wave of freshman students move in at Kaili University ahead of the fall semester. As the campus buzzes with enthusiasm, welcoming team and dedicated student volunteers are dispersed throughout. They extend their helping hands to facilitate the movement of belongings and offer friendlyguidance.
In order to make good preparations for the orientation and to ensure that new students enter the school in an orderly and safe manner, KLU has set up medical service points and a number of counseling stations on campus in advance.
In addition to the new faces, the campus was filled with enthusiastic volunteers from different schools, helping freshmen carry luggage, explaining the registration process patiently, and leading them to find check-in points of each school. On the way to guide the new students to report, thehumorous and witty words of volunteers also helped parents easing their worries about their children, and enhanced their understandings of the university. When freshmen arrived at the dormitory building, volunteers of the self-management committee of the apartments distributed the keys for them after confirming rooms, and answered their questions enthusiastically.
Guo Xiaoyu, a freshman from the School of Microelectronics and Artificial Intelligence, said: after coming to KLU, I was attracted by the unique campus culture immediately. In the future, I will not only study the professional knowledge, but also joining in meaningful organizations in my spare time to enrich my experience and exercise my ability. A parent of a new student said in an interview: the first impression of KLU is relatively quiet, and the buildings are of ethnic characteristics. I hope my child will be happy and academicallysuccessful here.
With the start of the new semester, KLU welcomes a group of freshmen who are full of vigor and energy, and their arrival injects freshness into the school.
