On July 22, KLU held an online exchange meeting with the Changshu Institute of Technology (CIT). Representatives and relevant staff responsible for international work from both universities attended the meeting, which was presided over by Zhou Lin, Secretary of the School of International Education of KLU.

At the meeting, Zhou Lin, on behalf of the School of International Education of KLU, extended welcome and greetings to colleagues from CIT. Ma Yunsheng, Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchanges of CIT, made a detailed introduction to recent Sino-foreign cooperation in education, scientific research, international student education, and the bringing in of foreign experts from abroad. Cai Wei, Dean of the School of Sino-American Education of CIT, sharedherexperience with KLU on Sino-foreign cooperative education projects. Xie Guihua, Dean of the School of International Education of KLU, briefly introduced the current situation of KLU’s international education and expressed gratitude for the support provided by CIT. The attendees from both parties had an in-depth exchange on the development of international exchange and cooperation during the pandemic and reached cooperation intentionson the expansion of international students and short-term projects of international students.

In 2021, the Jiangsu Education Department and the Department of Education of Guizhou Province signed theAction Plan for Collaborative Promotion of Education Opening Up to the Outside World. This year, KLU and CIT carried out online exchanges in pairs, laying the foundation for further collaboration between the two parties and providing a broader cooperation platform for the development of KLU’s international education.
