The list of winners for the China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week - China-ASEAN University Students Tourism Ambassador Contest has been released, and the Thai international students Kaewsomboon Supathip and Thiya Khamsopha from the School of Economics and Management mentored by Li Lian and HuangYu, teachers from the School of International Education, have won the third prize respectively.

It is reported that 19 international students from 12 countries and 13 domestic universities participated in the event. The contest is divided into two parts, tourism promotion and a talent show. Contestants submit their competition videos, which were be evaluated by judges online. In the tourism promotion, Kaewsomboon Supathip introduced the ancient town of Xiasi, while Thiya Khamsopha talked about the Xijiang Miao Village. The beautiful scenery of Qiandongnan Prefecture has special appeal in the introduction of international students. During the talent show, the two students presented traditional Thai dance.
The event has fully demonstrated the international students’ style of KLU, promoting the folk customs and unique beauty of Qiandongnan. Taking this event as an opportunity, KLU will improve further the quality of international student training and tell China’s stories.
