To promote China’s Belt and Road Initiative, enhance the Sino-ASEAN friendship and cooperation, and enroll more international students in our university, KLU held an online video meeting with six schools from Thailand, including Phrapathom Wittayalai School，Princess Sirindhorn’s College, Sriwichaiwithaya School, Watraikhing Wittaya School , Sampranwittaya School and Banglen Wittaya School on the afternoon of March 3. Zhou Jiangju, Vice President of KLU, attended the meeting and delivered a speech, with Zhou Lin, Secretary of the School of International Education (Office of International Exchange and Cooperation) presiding over the meeting. Yang Qin, Vice Dean of the School of International Education (Office of International Exchange and Cooperation), Li Lihong, former Vice Dean and relevant staff were present.

Shen Ye, the representative of the six Thai schools and a teacher at the Faculty of Humanities at the Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University, also served as an attendee.

At the beginning of the meeting, both parties introduced their attendees and watched the KLU promotional video together.

Zhou Jiangju delivered a speech on behalf of KLU, extending sincere greetings to the guests from these Thai schools and introducing KLU to them. She gave a warmwelcome tothe teachers and students of Thai schools and hoped that the two parties would cooperate further in Chinese language teaching and skills improvement to gather resources andelevate the quality of international students.

Both parties discussed on cooperation details. Dr. Samart Rodsumran, Principal of Phrapathom Witthayalai School, expected that the two parties could have in-depth cooperation in various aspects, and invited teachers and students of KLU to visit schools in Nakhon Pathom and make enrollment promotion.

It is reported that a delegation led by Dr.Samart Rodsumran will visit KLU and sign a cooperation agreement with KLU, to promote the in-depth and international development of KLU.
