On November 25, the final of the 2022 China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week - China-ASEAN University Students Tourism Ambassador Contest was held at KLU.

A total of 19 international students from 12 countries and 13 domestic universities entered the finals after the preliminary competitions. The contestants were required to make videos for the “tourism promotion” and “talent show” parts, and the judges scored all the videos online one by one. Nine experts, including national first-class director Shen Yi, also a Member of the China Dancers Association and former Chairman of Guizhou Dancers Association, Professor Duan Lina, the president of Guizhou Provincial Association for the Protection of Ethnic and Folk Culture, Muangphum Harnsiripetch, the head of the Thailand University Online Culture and Tourism Promotion Media Production Training Project, and the Thai representative of the showA Bright Worldby Jiangsu TV, served as the judges.

During the Contest, two wonderful singing and dancing programs presented by students from KLU made the event an even stronger cultural atmosphere.

A total of two first prizes, four second prizes and six third prizes were selected.

The China-ASEAN University Students Tourism Ambassador Contest is one of the all-year-round projects of the 2022 China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week. KLU overcame the difficulties of the pandemic and presented the whole process of the opening ceremony, award-winning announcement, and work exhibition to both online and offline audiences through recording and broadcasting. The Contest has become a representative brand project of the China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week, making positive contributions to telling stories of neighborliness and win-win cooperation between China and ASEAN and building a closer China-ASEAN community with a shared future.
