Kaili University Commencement Ceremony 2023 for Undergraduate Students was held on the morning of June 19. Leaders of the University, Song Jianbo, Zhao Shouying, Zhang Xuemei, Chen Huaili, Long Jian and Zhou Jiangju attended the meeting. Zhou Jiangju presided over the ceremony.

Vice President Chen Huaili read the Notice of Awards for 84 Graduates Who Succeeded to Master’s Degree in 2023, and leaders of KLU presented awards to the representatives of the graduates of the Class of 2023 who have been admitted to graduate schools.

Vice President Zhang Xuemei announced the decision to commend the outstanding classes and excellent graduates, and expressed his expectations and well-wishes to the students.

Zhou Jiangju introduced KLU’s gifts for graduates this year: the one is the traditional silver craft of KLU’s emblem, and the other one is the muppet made by traditional batik craft of the Miao People. Souvenirs bears the hope that students embarking on a new journey of glorious and dreamful youth.

Alumna Wu Mingqiu, who graduated from KLU School of Life and Health Science, extended affections for the school, teacher, fellow students and the time spent in KLU.

Zhao Shouying, President of KLU expressed his hope that the undergraduates would devote themselves to the active pursuit of building a socialist modern country with firm confidence, full enthusiasm, and a proactive attitude. The alma mater will always be the spiritual home and strong backing of the students of KLU, and Zhao wished the graduates a bright future and all the best.

Following the conclusion of the ceremony, University leaders proceeded to continue with the degree-awarding ceremony to confer degrees and award diplomas to graduate.
