From July 16 to 18, The 2nd International Chinese Language Education Development Think Tank Forum was held in Yunnan Normal University.

Xu Lin, a KLU teacher, was invited to attend the meeting and gave a keynote report entitled "Exploring the Path of Sustainable Development of Independent Confucius Classroom".

The conference is sponsored by the Institute of Chinese International Education of Beijing Language and Culture University, the Institute of Development Strategy of Confucius Institute of Zhejiang normal University and The Consortium of International Chinese Education Think Tanks, and Yunnan Chinese Language and Culture College /School of International Studies of Yunnan Normal University. Experts, scholars, teachers and students, as well as representatives of IFLYTEK, Huawei and other enterprises from 61 universities and institutions at home and abroad, including Beijing Language and Culture University, Sichuan University, Chiang Mai University in Thailand, gathered in Kunming discussing the development goals and direction of international Chinese education in the new era.
