KLU held the Launching Ceremony of 2021 Zhi & Xing Guizhou Silk Road Youth Exchange Programme (Qiandongnan Miao & Dong Culture Experience) on July 12. Chen Wenyi, Deputy Director of Secretariat Office of China-ASEAN Education Exchange Week, Wu Zuozhao, Deputy Secretary of Education Working Committee of Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, Song Guangqiang, Secretary of the Party Committee of Kaili University, and Zhou Jiangju, Vice President of KLU attended the meeting. 20 international students, representatives of teachers from colleges and universities outside Guizhou province, experts in teaching ethnic culture experience courses, the main heads of relevant departments and schools of KLU, all staff of School of International Education, and volunteers participated in the meeting. The ceremony was presided over by Zhou Jiangju.

After the ceremony, all the staff visited the museum, watched Dong Ethnic Chorus and performance of Miao Ethnic Fanpai Wooden-drum Dance.

The 2021 Zhi & Xing Guizhou Silk Road Youth Exchange Programme (Qiandongnan Miao & Dong Culture Experience) has arranged a lot of activities, including lectures on Miao and Dong culture, Chinese Language Learning ,Batiks Learning , and Fanpai Wooden-drum Dancing, and Dong Ethnic Chorus . They had been to Shiqiao Village, Wanda Town in Danzhai, Xijiang Miao Village, and Xiasi Ancient Town for cultural experience.
