In order to enhance the level of piano education and effectively improve professional training skills, on November 29th,KLU invitespiano player Song Yang to theSchool of Music and Dance to carry out academic lectures. Prof. Song Yang is a contracted visiting professor ofKLU, and this is the second time forher to give lectures here.

Song Yang, young piano player, organist, harpsichordist, principal player of Vienna Artistic Voices Symphony Orchestra. In 2019, she had completed the world premiere of the wind version of the Yellow River Piano Concerto in the Golden Hall in Vienna.

In this lecture, Song Yang shared her experience of studying and living abroad as well as the gainsshe has made in her artistic path. Following that, a number of students went on stage toplay the piano. Song Yang instructed students to explore the expression of the repertoire from the details in terms of rhythm, pause and lightness, to improve the sense of rhythm and to better solve the current problems encountered in the playing techniques and interpretation of songs.
